It’s cookie sale program time and girls all over our council jurisdiction are out selling Girl Scout cookies. There are ways girls can increase their sales and achieve their goals. The Little Brownie Bakers website has some great tips and activities for helping make your sale more successful.
Did you know that the number one reason someone doesn’t buy Girl Scout cookies? It is because no one asked them! So, get out there and ask…everyone you can! Shoppers, Firefighters, Police Officers, Teachers, College Students. Ask people using the Cookie Club, set up troop booth sales, and organize a neighborhood walkabout with your troop.
Customers LOVE Girl Scout cookies. There are lots of favorite varieties to choose from. Offer samples to booth sale customers to help them choose which to buy. Since the cookies are only available for a limited time, encourage your customers to buy larger quantities and freeze them so they can enjoy them year-round.
And, of course, make sure your customers know what your goals for the sale are. Are you hoping to go to a theatre production? Travel to a far away place? Let them know. Customers want to support girls’ in reaching their goals.
