I received an e-mail this weekend and I couldn’t wait to share it!

Girl Scout, Marissa, from Cadette Troop 41211, was delivering cookies to her door to door customer down the street, Diane Boettger. When Diane opened the door she was smiling ear to ear with excitement that her cookies were here. Diane told Marissa to hold on a minute. She went into the house and came back out with her Girl Scout sash from when she was a Girl Scout in the 1960’s! Diane had an impressive collection of patches. She also shared that her favorite memory as a Girl Scout was camping trips.

There is a huge network of Girl Scouts! You never know who you will be selling cookies to! Do you have a neat story like this? Be sure to let us know about it by e-mailing it to kdunne@gsnypenn.org.

Don’t forget – we’re still collecting your booth sale photos for the Facebook contest. You can check out the photos already collected and like your favorites by clicking here.
