The first ever National Girl Scout Cookie Day is on February 8! On this day, Girl Scouts everywhere will be raising awareness about the Girl Scout Cookie Program and how customers can get their Girl Scout cookies.
Did you know that the Girl Scout Cookie Program is the biggest girl-led business in the world, generating $790 million in cookie sales? Did you know that girls sell over 200 million cookie packages a year to more than 50 million cookie customers?
As girls run their own business they are learning five essential life skills: goal setting, decision-making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.
So let’s let everyone know that the Girl Scout Cookie Program is about more than just cookies!
There are opportunities to get involved on National Girl Scout Cookie Day locally and help promote Girl Scout cookies! Attend either of these National Girl Scout Cookie Day programs between 6:30 and 8 p.m. on February 8!
- The Marcellus Middle School Cafeteria
- The Finger Lakes Mall in Auburn
