The sun looks like it is starting to come out this morning and I’m almost positive I can hear birds outside. By next week the sun will stay up until nearly 7pm! Spring has a way of making people happy. Here are three programs you can attend with your troops this spring:
Do you wonder where that syrup for your pancakes comes from? Want to see how a maple sugar house works? Take your troop to the Maple Sugarhouse Tour on March 30th, in Oswego County, and find out. Girls will get tour of a real working sugar house and of course there will be samples of what they are making.
Have you ever tried Geocaching? Now is your chance! Girls can attend the Geocaching program in Binghamton on April 13th and discover the fun of finding treasures that are hidden in plain sight.
Want to lend a hand? Join the Spring Work Weekend at Misty Hollow, in Corning, and help get camp ready for the season. You’ll get to help with clearing trails, putting up tents, planting flowers, and painting. There will also be time for fun activities and relaxing with friends too!
