Girls between the ages of 15 and 18 can apply for the Destination. Girls attending will learn about the interesting Icelandic sagas and geothermal energy. You and 13 Girl Scouts will experience whale watching, waterfalls, glaciers, icebergs, volcanoes and hot springs. You’ll also spend a day with a local Scouting group. Girls will visit Reykjavik, Arbaer Outdoor Museum, Saga Museum, Viden Island, Hvalfjordur Bay, Glymur Waterfal, local farms, Borgarfjordur and Saga Valley, Reykholt, Stykkisholmur, Breidafjordur Bay, the “Golden Circle”, and the Blue Lagoon.
The trip is taking place July 25-August 2 and costs $3,925. This cost is all-inclusive. The trip is being sponsored by the Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina.
