The workshop is being held on Saturday, May 11 from 4-8 p.m. at the Deposit Central High School and is open to girls in grades 7-12 in Deposit and the surrounding areas. The name of the workshop is “Where’s the Line?” The workshop is geared towards anti-bullying and self esteem. Girls that attend will also receive a booklet of information of outside activities they can participate in after school and on weekends.
The prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn. In order to earn the award, girls must complete Senior or Ambassador Journeys, the essence of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, and demonstrate their leadership abilities by spending at least 80 hours working on a Gold Award Take Action project that creates a sustainable impact on her extended community.
