Three Things for Thursday

Do the girls in your troop love the water? Here are three programs coming up this summer they might be interested in:

River Raiders I, 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30 to 4 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013  Amahami Outdoor Program Center  434 Page Pond Road  Deposit, NY, 13754, (Broome County), Open to Girl Scouts in grades 6– 10 Learn all the basics you need to be part of the Susquehanna River Raiders canoe racing team. Plan and participate in the Lake Waletka Regatta. This is a three-day/two-night program.

Junior Boater, 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30 to 4 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013, Amahami Outdoor Program Center, 434 Page Pond Road, Deposit, NY, 13754, (Broome County), Open to Girl Scouts in grades 4–5, Row boats. Paddle canoes and kayaks. And as you do, learn safety skills and racing techniques. Then plan and participate in a regatta as part of this three day/two night program for girls who love boating!

River Raiders II, 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 6 to 4 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013, Amahami Outdoor Program Center, 434 Page Pond Road, Deposit, NY, 13754, (Broome County), Open to Girl Scouts in grades 6– 10, Learn about currents and riffles as you plan and enjoy an all-day paddle on the Susquehanna River! This is a three-day/two-night program.
