Sara and Brenna from Groton wanted to help their sister Girl Scouts in Oklahoma following the devastating tornado earlier this year.
The girls, Girl Scouts for 12 years, just graduated from high school in June and are moving on to college in the fall. They had $150 left in their troop account from selling cookies, magazines, and candy and after considering different options, the girls decided to donate to the Oklahoma Girl Scout Tornado Relief Fund to help girls that lost everything get back on their feet.
“We know it’s not much,” Sara and Brenna said. “But we hope it helps and makes a difference to the girls there.”
