Girl Scouts of the USA has announced its new online Girl Scout Gold Award web app! This interactive resource walks aspiring Gold Award applicants through the entire process of planning, developing, and implementing their own Gold Award projects.
Step-by-step instructions offer girls guidance and the ability to record every aspect of their Gold Award project as it progresses. The web app exactly mirrors the existing paper process that’s been in place for some time, and it’s available online 24/7 from any Internet-connected computer. The web app automatically informs councils of the project’s status and submits a request for approval directly to the applicant’s council when the project is completed. GSUSA thinks it will streamline the entire process for girls getting their Gold Award. Check it out by clicking here.
And don’t forget to join the Girl Scout Gold Award community on Facebook and read the conversations girls are having as they work on their Gold Award projects. Share your own stories and make new friends!
