Did you know that Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways has program kits available for troop use? And, did you know that they are available at any service center? Troop leaders can request a kit to use with their troop – girls are sure to find the activities fun!
Here are three available now!
Bubble Fun – This kit includes 9 activities, including bubbles and how the animals that use them and “bubble sculpture”. Girls will learn about how bubble solution is the best-selling toy in the world and the largest bubble ever was large enough to enclose 5 people and made with a hula hoop! Through participation in these activities girls will develop strong self, gain life skills, develop critical thinking and healthy relationships.
Winter Ecology – This kit includes 12 activities including identifying animals and their prints in the snow, plants in the winter and catching and identifying snowflakes. Winter ecology shows you how energy, mother nature and specific materials work for against us and plants during the winter season.
ZAP Solid waste and Recycling – This kit includes 12 activities including those that show you how to reduce, reuse and recycle! Girls will develop strong self, gain life skills, develop critical thinking and healthy relationships, in addition to, identifying community needs, become resourceful problem solvers, and learning about empowering people to act.
