Three things for Thursday

By Karen Strife, Manager, Community Development

i cant waitGirl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways has three trips planned with deadlines to register coming up soon!

Travel to Boston Friday night. Take to the high seas on Saturday for a whale watch out of Gloucester. After a day of fresh salt air, enjoy an old-fashioned lobster bake! Sunday, visit the Boston Aquarium and end the trip with some shopping at Faneuil Hall.

Have you ever wondered what happens in the Museum at night after the lights dim and the doors close? Come find out for yourself! We’ll stop at the Explore and More Children’s Museum, stop for dinner, then check into the Buffalo Museum of Science for the night. Museum guards will guide us as we solve the mysteries of the museum. The fee for this program includes transportation, dinner on Saturday, lunch on Sunday, and entrance fees to both museums. Bring a bag lunch to eat while traveling on Saturday. We will not stop along the way to buy anything to eat until dinnertime

Travel by luxury coach to Washington, DC and spend some time at the Smithsonian Institution. From there, travel to the birthplace of our founder, Juliette Gordon Low in Savannah, GA. Visit the home where she was born, take a Ghost Trolley Tour of the city of Savannah, go on a dolphin cruise, see several lighthouses and do a little shopping! On the way home, visit Myrtle Beach, SC!  The fee for this trip includes transportation, hotel and entrance fees, and all meals except while on the bus.
