Three things for Thursday

SU encampmentI know that it’s hard to believe as the snow storm winds down from yesterday, but summer really is just around the corner. The beach, flip-flops, warm sunshine, and of course, Girl Scout summer camp. Here are three programs to choose from:

Fun ‘N Sun – July 6 – 11, Grades 2 – 3, $270. Spend your week all around the waterfront! You will boat, swim, play water games, have a water carnival, and just have a good time. When you are not on the water you will also get to participate in all the other fun activities that camp has to offer.

Saddle Up – July 13 – 18, Grades 4 – 5, $460. If you are a beginner or a little experienced at horseback riding this program is for you! Learn to ride, care for the horses and much more at Painted Bar Stables for two full days during your camp week. Transportation to and from the stable is provided.

Project Adventure – July 20 – 25, Grades 6 and up, $320. Come build courage and confidence by participating in leadership and team-building activities at the Cayuga Nature Center’s high and low element ropes course. Practice wilderness survival techniques, try out Geocaching, and build extreme friendships with the rest of your group! You will also get to participate in all the activities camp has to offer.
