Looking for program opportunities for your troops? Want to check out the Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways properties to see how fantastic they are? Here are three program events that are planned and are going to be held at one of the properties.
Daisy and Brownie Fall Fun Day – Saturday, October 11, 10am-3pm, Camp Trefoil, 168 Rose Road, Harrisville, NY 13648, (St. Lawrence County). Open to Girl Scouts in grades K–3
Join us for a fun-filled day in the outdoors as we learn some outdoor skills, go boating, learn about animal habitats, and a little something about bugs. You will also get to try out the flying squirrel which is part of our ropes course! Participants are asked to bring a bag lunch and an empty shoe box for the craft.
Winter Weekend – 6pm Friday, January 30-11am Sunday, February 1, Amahami Outdoor Center, 434 Page Pond Road, Deposit, NY 13754, (Broome County). Open to Girl Scouts in grades 6–12 and adults. Come to Amahami for a weekend of theater arts, music, crafts, culinary arts, and winter sports. Participate in workshops presented by a college theater program and other talented artists and musicians. Stay indoors or venture out to cross country ski, snowshoe, ride sleds, or create your own snow sculpture. Meals are provided. Sleeping in is the lodge facilities.
Mermaid’s Ball – Saturday April 18, 5:30-7:30pm, Misty Hollow Program Center, 1850 Benjamin Road, Corning, NY 14830, (Steuben County). Open to Girl Scouts in grades K–12 and non-registered girls. Come dance and make new friends at our undersea spectacular! We offer incentives to any Girl Scout who brings a non-member friend. Creative costumes are encouraged. Snacks and drinks are provided.
