With the Girl Scout cookie sale program approaching soon here are three fun facts you may not have heard about:
The Samoa cookie is turning 40 this year! That’s right, 40, and there is going to be a birthday bash! Get the girls in your troop together, invite families, and join in on celebrating this birthday, January 10, at 2pm. There will be a virtual party. Visit http://www.littlebrowniebakers.com for more information.
Little Brownie Baker has short videos on their website available to teach girls skills for the sale such as how the sale work, how to ask customers to buy cookies, safety rules, and how to set a goal.
There is a volunteer guide available for volunteers to learn how to help girls with goal setting, decision-making, setting up booth sales, and much more, to make sure that all girls have a successful cookie sale program.
For more information about the cookie sale program visit the council website at http://www.gsnypenn.org
