Kids going to be on school break in February? Looking for fun, amazing things to do with them? Check out these three program events taking place around the Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways jurisdiction:
A Day of Play – Monday, February 16th, 9am-3pm, Village Chapel, 28 Main Street, Candor, NY, (Tioga County). Open to Girl Scouts in grades K–3, adults, and non-registered girls. What are YOU doing on your day off from school? Come join the fun with us as we make crafts, try new games, make new friends and play the day away! Please bring a bag lunch and one snack for the day. The $20 fee includes a $5 program fee and the $15 GSUSA membership fee. There is financial assistance available for the $15 GSUSA fee. If needed, please select the option on the flyer. Current members may attend, but you must bring a non-member friend. Troops must provide a first aider.
Snow tubing at Maple Ridge – February 18th, 5-8pm, Maple Ridge Center, 7421 East Road, Lowville, NY, (Lewis County). Open to Girl Scouts in grades K–12 and adults. It’s February school break! Let’s go tubing! The fee includes a tube rental, a lift ticket, and use of the hill for the evening. This is a reduced fee and is for registered Girl Scouts only. Pay at the tubing center the night of the event. So put on your winter gear and let’s go tubing! Adults within ratio required. Troops must provide a first aider.
Girl Scout Day with Syracuse University – February 22, 12-3pm, Syracuse University Carrier Dome, 900 Irving Ave., Syracuse, NY 13244, (Onondaga County). Open to Girl Scouts in grades K–12, adults, and non-registered girls. It’s Girl Scout Day at the Dome! Come cheer on the Syracuse University Women as they take on the Pittsburg Panthers at the Dome. Tickets are only $5 for girls, family and friends. All tickets are general admission, except for courtside tickets. Come cheer on the SU Women and enjoy family fun day at the Dome!
