  • Rainforest, River, & Reef – July 4-18 or July 18-August 1: Girl Scouts will combine unforgettable adventure with true cultural immersion in the jungles of Costa Rica. Whether you’re trekking through the lush cloud and rainforests, rafting down whitewater rivers, or zipping through the canopy, you’ll discover your strengths on this unforgettable adventure!   • Costa Rica & Panama Service Challenge – June 20-July 4 or July 4-18: On this course, you’ll dedicate your time to assisting with community projects in an indigenous village in Costa Rica and to protecting the unique and fragile ecosystem of Panama.   • Scuba & Sea Turtle Adventure – June 20-July 4, July 4-18 or July 18-August 1: This course will spark your sense of adventure and passion for learning as you discover new depths and gain compassion for the marine life that inhabits the tropical waters of Panama. You’ll not only explore the crystal clear Caribbean Ocean while learning to scuba dive but you’ll also dedicate time to protecting and learning about the region’s diverse marine life through a meaningful conservation project.   • Catching Waves – June 20-30 or July 18-28: This is the surf and service adventure of a lifetime! For 10 days you’ll experience a variety of water and beach-based activities against the backdrop of tropical Costa Rica. You’ll learn about surf dynamics and philosophy as well as about the unique coastal ecology of the country’s Pacific Coast while also participating in local service projects.
