Wet Felted Flowers – Saturday, June 6, 9am-noon, River Breeze Alpacas, 20 Hood Lane, Downsville, NY 13755, (Delaware County) Open to Girl Scouts in grades K–3. Have you ever met an alpaca face to face? Here’s your chance! Alpacas are barnyard animals—they won’t come to you like a dog but are generally friendly and curious. Visit them outdoors for about half an hour (weather permitting) and pet them and give them a treat. Bring your camera! After getting acquainted with these furry creatures, go in the barn and learn how to wet felt. Using your hands, soap, water, and fiber, make a couple of wet felted flowers! Sew some beads to the center of the flowers and attach a pin or clip to the back. You will be able to take the two finished flowers home with you. Please wear sturdy shoes! No sandals or flip flops!

You and Me at Amahami – Friday, July 31 5pm-Sunday, August 2 2pm – Amahami Outdoor Center, 434 Page Pond Road,   Deposit, NY 13754, (Broome County), Open to Girl Scouts in grades K–12 and female adults. Bring your special adult female (mom, grandma, aunt, or older sister who is an adult) to share this camping time with you. Swim, boat, hike, and do arts and crafts together as you get to know Amahami.

Once Upon a Time Day Camp – Monday, August 10-Thursday, August 13, 9am-4pm each day – Watertown Fairgrounds,   William T Field Drive, Watertown, NY 13601, (Jefferson County), Open to Girl Scouts in grades K–12 and non-registered girls. Once upon a time at camp, girls were having an amazing time! Join us for a magical week where your imagination will run wild. Over the week, you will do crafts, swim, play games, participate in STEM activities, sing, and earn the “It’s Your Story, Tell It” Journey for your grade level. There will be Daisy, Brownie, and Junior groups. Older girls (Cadettes and up) can serve as Program Aides for the week with a group of younger girls. You need to bring a lunch each day. Snacks and activity materials are included in the camp fee. Join us and camp happily ever after!
