Crafty girls at Amahami – Friday, June 26, 9am-3pm, Amahami Outdoor Center, 434 Page Pond Road, Deposit, NY, 13754, (Broome County). Open to Girl Scouts in grades 2–8. Get your summer off to a great start with a day of crafts and fun at beautiful Amahami Outdoor Center! Dip your brush into a day of fun and play with friends new and old as we create works of art to take home—sun catchers, bubble prints, jewelry and more! The day will also include games and short hikes! Invite your friends to join the fun! Girls who bring a non-registered friend will get a free patch! Please dress for the weather and bring a bagged lunch.
Babysitting course in Watertown – Wednesday, July 8 and Thursday July 9, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day, Immaculate Heart Central Primary School, 122 Winthrop Street, Watertown, NY, 13601, (Jefferson County). Open to Girl Scouts in grades 4–8. Earn some extra money for school clothes by babysitting! This two-day Red Cross certification course will make you the best babysitter ever! You’ll learn how to take care of children of all ages, learn fun games and, most important, First Aid and CPR. So get together with your friends, take the babysitting course, and start your own babysitting business! Please bring a bag lunch and drink.
Picnic at Enchanted Forest Water Safari – Tuesday, August 11, 9:30am-6pm, Enchanted Forest Water Safari Park, 3183 New York Route 28, Old Forge, NY, 13420, (Herkimer County). Open to Girl Scouts in grades K–12, adults, and non-registered girls. Come to Enchanted Forest Water Safari for a day of fun, food, and friendship! Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways has partnered with the Park again for a Girl Scout Picnic. Girl Scouts and their families and friends can enjoy a fun day inside the Enchanted Forest Water Safari Park, the LARGEST water park in New York State!! Girl Scouts can purchase tickets to this one day event and meet Girl Scouts from across the state! Tickets are VALID ONLY TUESDAY AUGUST 11TH, 2015. They include Admission to the Park and an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT-BUFFET from 1 p.m.–2:30 p.m. The buffet is held in a special pavilion designated for Girl Scouts attending this event. A gift and activities for Girl Scouts are planned.
