This October, Girl Scouts of all ages have the opportunity to take a fun trip out of town.
First, Girl Scouts in grades 4-12 and adults will go on a scavenger hunt to find the hidden gems of New York City’s Bryant Park and Grand Central Station! Afterwards, we will enjoy lunch and some free time to shop or sight see before meeting back for dinner and a Broadway show! Registered girls will be contacted in August to choose which show we’ll see.
This program is October 9-11 and is for registered Girl Scouts only, so encourage your friends to join! The $375 fee covers transportation, hotel, scavenger hunt, Saturday’s lunch and dinner, and theater tickets. Adults within ratio are required, as is a first aider for your troop. Deadline for registration is September 7.
To register for this program, go to the GSNYPENN online registration site. All program slots are first come, first served, so register as soon as possible!
Next, Girl Scouts in younger grades, K-3, and adults are invited to take a trip into the world of the unknown with a Spooktacular Camp-In at Buffalo Museum of Science! During an overnight stay at the museum, campers will learn spooky facts such as why things glow in the dark, where those weird noises come from, and do bats really get tangled in your hair!
This program runs October 24-25 and supports the “It’s Your Planet, Love It” Journey. It is only available for registered Girl Scouts, so ask your BFF to join so she can go too! The $70 fee includes transportation, overnight fee, snack, and breakfast. Please bring a bagged dinner and drink. Adults within ratio are required and troops must provide a first aider. Registration deadline is September 18.
To register for this program, go to the GSNYPENN online registration site. All program slots are filled on a first come, first serve basis, so sign up early!
