The digital world is changing every day. There are constantly new tools available for the computer, tablet, and mobile phones. There are many benefits to being constantly connected with the world – but there are also many negatives if you don’t know how to use the apps safely.
Girls in fourth through 12th grades can learn about the various applications available and how to use them safely at our playing social safe programs:
- Wednesday, September 30 from 6-7 p.m. at the Frank Basloe Library in Herkimer
- Thursday, October 1 from 6-7 p.m. at the City of Oneida Parks and Recreation Center
The cost to attend is $1 per girl and the deadline to register is Monday. Non-registered Girl Scouts can also attend y paying the additional $15 Girl Scout registration fee. Financial assistance is available to become a Girl Scout. Find out more information and register for the Herkimer program here; and the Oneida program here.
