Three things for Thursday

By Lisa Kaminski; Manager, Community Development

CampNew program opportunities are being developed and offered all the time at Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways. Here are three:

Snowflake Ball – Saturday, December 19th, 6-8pm, Watertown region. Dress up in your finest clothes and dance the night away as you celebrate winter with your Girl Scout friends! The Snowflake Ball has become a winter tradition you don’t want to miss!

Snowshoeing at Comstock for Brownies and Juniors – Saturday, January 16th, 1-3pm. Spend the afternoon learning how to snowshoe, then play some outdoor winter games! Halfway through our excursion we’ll stop at Bailiwick to warm up by the fire and have some hot chocolate. Please dress warmly in layers and wear snow pants and winter boots. Snowshoes will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own as well.

Do you want to build a snowman? – Saturday, February 6th, 10am-3pm, Camp Hoover. An assortment of fun winter activities awaits girls at Camp Hoover! From building snow castles and snow angels to painting in the snow to making snow cream, there’s lots of ways to have fun in winter. The snow queen herself will make a special appearance! Lunch will be provided during the program.
