Save the date for the second annual Lyons Trashion Show! It’s taking place March 19 at 2 p.m. at the Ohmann Theatre in Lyons.
So what exactly is a Trashion show? Girls can upcycle or recycle items into spectacular trashions. They can make amazing dresses, tops, bottoms, and accessories from recycled items in an effort to promote the reuse, reduce, recycle Girl Scout motto.
Categories that girls can enter include casual wear, formal wear, Girl Scout uniform of the future, and sporty.
The public is welcome to watch the Trashion show. The cost is 18 and over $2 and 4-17, $1. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Girl Scout Opportunity Fund which helps girls become Girl Scouts and participate in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
Interested in registering your troop or girl to participate in the Trashion Show? Then contact Tracy Fraser at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We can’t wait to see what you come up with for your Trashion!
