Three things for Thursday

By Lisa Kaminski; Manager, Community Recruitment

MelvinGirl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways wants all girls to get outdoors! And girls want this too! So, in order to encourage outdoor activities we have put together a list of outdoor activities for each age level in Girl Scouts. Earn the specified number of points for your age level and you can purchase a special bracelet! And, you can earn a new bracelet every year!

Here are three activities for girls in different age-levels that will help them earn their bracelet:

Daisy Girl Scouts can build a sandcastle, play at the playground, or go cloud watching

Brownie Girl Scouts can visit the zoo, plant a garden, and go snowshoeing

Junior Girl Scouts can explore a waterfall, go cross-country skiing, or visit a state park

Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts can hike the waterfall trail at Comstock, go scuba diving, and go white water rafting.

For a complete list of activities that can help you earn the bracelet, and the points needs for each age level check this out.
