We welcomed our new Chief Operations Officer, MaryAnn Stark, late last year and since she has been busy immersing herself in the Girl Scout culture!
“I am thrilled to be here and looking forward to making the overall Girl Scout experience even bigger and better!” MaryAnn said. “What has struck me the most so far has been the dedication and passion of all of our staff and volunteers. It’s contagious!”
MaryAnn has over 25 years of professional experience in higher education, business operations, and non-profit management. Her jump to the non-profit world was in 2001 when she was President & CEO of Consumer Credit Counseling for nearly 12 years. Her leadership resulted in tremendous growth from being a local, then state-wide, then nationally based organization.
Her professional expertise lies in the areas of organization development, business operations and management, and human services. She has made several contributions to her professional and civic community by way of regional and national conference presentations, outside consulting and training, service to Rotary International and on local boards.
MaryAnn lives in Manlius with her husband and son.
