Three things for Thursday

By Lisa Kaminski; Manager, Community Development

hunger3Did you know that our troop/group activity application guidelines have recently changed? There are now three circumstances that necessitate a troop leader completing this form for a troop activity. Here are the three times this form needs to be completed and submitted:

When a troop activity involves an overnight.

When an activity may be considered high risk — remember troop leaders should always be checking the safety activity checkpoints prior to planning activities to see if they are considered high risk, or if they are not allowed in Girl Scouts, as there are some activities that are not approved activities.

When an activity will take place more than 200 miles from the troop’s normal meeting place.

The online form can be found here and can be completed and submitted all online! Super easy!
