Are you a Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways volunteer looking for some additional training and support for your role in working with girls? We offer many adult training workshops to help! You can choose from online options as well as in person training. Here are three being offered:
Need more information about the Volunteer Toolkit? We have a webinar for you! — VTK Webinar 101, March 29 or April 7th, 7pm, online. Why VTK? The Volunteer Toolkit allows leaders to communicate with parents via email and even attach resources and forms, track attendance, and track award achievements. Daisy to Junior leaders can choose from stocked badge requirements and Journey activities. Teen troops are able to schedule events and activities that are important to them. Safety information is right in the VTK for easy access. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
Early bird renewal in the member community — April 3, 7pm, online. It’s time to join us for another great year of Girl Scouting! We’re busy planning lots of exciting things for the upcoming Girl Scout year and we want you to be a part of it all! Our webinar will cover the enhanced renewal functionality of the Member Community for troops; highlight the 2017 Early Bird incentives; and provide an overview of the renewal and updating process for individuals and families. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
Spring Fling – Amahami Adventure Center, April 29-May 1. Come for a day or stay for the weekend! You asked for it, we’re offering it! In addition to our regular class offerings, we are excited to have a weekend full of Amahami history and Native American Programming. You won’t be able to wait to bring your girls back and show them all you’ve learned!
All registered leaders, co-leaders and adult volunteers active in Girl Scouting are invited to our retreat and workshop! Increase your skills and knowledge in a variety of workshop offerings all while learning more about Camp Amahami and all it has to offer! Flexible schedule—you choose as many or as few workshops as you like!
FRIDAY NIGHT RETREAT
Option A: Are you ready to take your girls on an overnight trip? Join us for Simply Successful Overnights, a 3 hour workshop, and you will be on your way.
Option B: Join us for Retreat and Fellowship. A variety of fun activities will be planned!
Both options end with overnight accommodations in Rowe Lodge.
Have fun filling your day with a schedule you choose! Course selections include:
· Expressive Drumming
· First Aid/CPR
· Simply Successful Camping (stay over Saturday night, program finishes with breakfast/cleanup on Sunday)
· Journey Clinic
· Bronze/Silver/Gold Awards
· First Year Leader Workshop
· Creative Campfire Cooking
· Native American Programming
Stay Saturday night and enjoy Amahami folklore and story-telling around the campfire followed by a wishbone sendoff ceremony on the lake!

PLEASE NOTE: FA/CPR requires an online pre-course and an additional, separate $27 registration is required.
Participants registering for SSO must stay over Friday night. Participants registering for SSC must stay over Saturday night. Registration fee includes Friday night snacks, continental breakfast Saturday, bagged lunch and dinner. Coffee bar available Sunday morning.
