What is a CEO?
“A CEO is the highest ranking executive in a company whose main responsibilities include developing and implementing high-level strategies, making major corporate decisions, managing the overall operations and resources of a company, and acting as the main point of communication between the board of directors and the corporate operations.”
In a nutshell a CEO is a leader. So whether you dream of being your own boss, a CEO at a growing company, President, or whatever else you want to do – Camp CEO will help prepare you!
Camp CEO is a camp-based leadership development experience where Central New York’s most accomplished women connect with the next generation of leaders: girls in grades 9-12. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in mentoring activities and workshops where you’ll be able to see what life is like in different careers and even gain insights into the challenges and triumphs of these professional women.
Not only that but you’ll be able to interact with these women as you canoe on Cayuga Lake, sit around the campfire, hike to a waterfall, or participate in team challenges.
Camp CEO is taking place August 18-21 at the Comstock Adventure Center. Full funding is available to attend (minus a $10 registration fee). Girls don’t even have to be Girl Scouts to attend! Register today.
