By: Kim Dunne, Marketing and Communications Manager

girls change the worldAre you ready to be creative? Then we have the perfect project for you!

Girls are invited to bring their inner artist to life showing what Girl Scouts means to them and they could have their artwork hung in our Cicero Service Center for all girls, volunteers, and staff to enjoy!

Through July 15 you can mail your submissions to:

Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways
Attn: Jenn Czupryna
600 French Road
New Hartford, NY 13413

Make sure you write your name, troop number and contact info on the back of your submission. Everyone that enters will receive a fun patch.

From July 18-22 the staff will narrow down the submissions. From July 25-August 4 girls and adults will be able to vote on their favorites.

The winners will be given a 16×20 canvas, five colors of paint (red, yellow, blue, black, and white), and two brushes. Winners are asked to pick up these supplies at their nearest service center by August 12.

Winners will then be invited to hang their master piece on August 30 in Cicero where there will be a staff celebration of their work and pictures!

We are so excited to offer this exciting contest to you and can’t wait to see all of the creative submissions!

    1. Hi Melissa – The paper to submit the design can be any size. If they are chosen as a winner they will be able to replicate their art on a larger size! Hope this helps – thanks for the question!

  1. So you make a design for Girl Scouts and if you win, you re-create the same thing on a canvas. The canvas will then be displayed?
