We’re here to highlight three Halloween events to put you in the spirit of the holidays–all within the NYPENN region, which include haunting tales, a Girl Scout-run haunted trail, and a very special birthday.
Ghost Stories at Roberson: Daisies and Brownies are invited to the Roberson Museum in Binghmaton to delight in spooky tales while dressed in their Halloween best on October 29th at 9am. There will be haunted mansion tour, as well as a tour of the all-Hallows-eve sky in the digital planetarium. But it wouldn’t be a Halloween event if there wasn’t a sticky-icky science experiment to take home with you.
Forestport Indoor Haunted Trail: This spooky event is brought to you by none other than Girl Scout Troop 20002. Every year this troop of young ladies and girls have been putting on this indoor haunt at the Forestport Town Hall. The troop promises a trail with new scary features! There are also games, auctions, and food.
A Haunted Birthday: October 31st isn’t just Halloween, it’s also our founder Juliette Gordon Low’s birthday. She was born back in 1860 in Savannah, Georgia.
