This week we’d like to highlight three unique categories of NYPENN events and programs that deal with art, the great outdoors, and cookies.

ARTS:

If you want to get into the holiday spirit, consider signing your troop up for a trip to the Moscow Ballet’s production of the Nutcracker! After the performance there will be a chance for a meet and greet and photo opportunity with one of the dancers.  And a Moscow Ballet fun patch is included!

Find out how to get tickets.

There’s also an opportunity to get tickets for Disney on Ice! Upbeat music, and all the characters you know and love will be there.

OUTDOORS:

Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean camp is closed. The Trefoil Adventure Center will be playing host for a full day where girls can participate in winter activities and then warm up by the fire with some hot chocolate and cookies.

Amahami will be open for an entire weekend in January, where older Girl Scouts can participate in cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, and ice fishing.

COOKIES:

A new year means readying the troops for cookie sales! We are proud to announce that we will be repeating last year’s cookie convention, but this year we’re going to go bigger.

We’ll be holding the event in the Horticulture Building at the Syracuse New York State Fairgrounds. We’ll have more activities and a pep rally to get everyone psyched for cookies season.
